Position: Behavior Analyst

Job Summary:
The Behavior Analyst is responsible for providing behavior analysis and support to students with special needs in an educational setting. The incumbent will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to assess behavior patterns, develop individualized behavior intervention plans, and implement evidence-based strategies to improve student behavior and learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

2. Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIP) based on the results of FBA, utilizing evidence-based strategies and techniques.

4. Provide training and guidance to teachers and educational staff on behavior management techniques and strategies.
5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior interventions through data collection and analysis.
6. Adjust behavior support plans as needed based on ongoing data analysis and student progress.
7. Conduct behavioral observations and collect data to inform decision-making and progress monitoring.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of behavior intervention plans, progress reports, and related records.
9. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding behavior goals and objectives.
10. Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, and school psychologists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support.
11. Stay current with research and best practices in the field of behavior analysis and special education.

Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field.
2. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
